Transportation:
By Air: Via Pacific Coastal Airlines from Vancouver, BC to Anahim Lake Airport where we will meet you and provide you with the ground transportation to Nimpo Lake float plane base and the flight to Crazy Bear Lake (30 min.)
By Road:

Cancellation
Deposits cannot be refunded but can be applied to a future date. At your request we can inform you of special hotel rates in Vancouver or along the road.
Round-trip between Vancouver to Nimpo Lake Base (not included in our rates)
You can drive to Nimpo Lake float-plane base or by request we will arrange your round-trip flight, via Pacific Coastal Airline. You can choose to book directly with the airline, or for your convenience, we can book your flights for you. ***Booking confirmation and and payment must be made 30 days prior to arrival.
Recommended Clothing
Casual clothing for temperatures ranging from 40 to 85 degrees. Waders (for float-tubes) and Rain gear (just in case). Travel light - local airlines charge extra for baggage in excess of 50 lbs per person.
Sundries and Personal Items
Personal items and alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the local Nimpo Lake Store just before your final flight into Crazy Bear Lake.
Special Notice
At an elevation of 4,200 feet, fishing remains constant even during the warm summer months due to the snowfield runoffs, which keep the lakes cool.
Crazy Bear Lake Lodge is the only operation on Crazy Bear Lake and can be accessed by float-planes or personal helicopters only which makes this a most private retreat indeed.
For urgent communication with the outside world, a radio-telephone is available.
First-comers to Crazy Bear Lake please remember -> You'll have six lakes and the stream to fish - in only six days! Please consider this when making your final decision. The average stay of our regular guests is seven days - they would not settle for less.
